The Contemporary Pharmaceutical industry evolved with several academic horizons which include chemistry, biology, physics, biotechnology, pharmaceutics, and engineering, and spread a broad variety of topics, from drug discovery to manufacture and regulatory grants. In 21st century, fast advancement in the field of medicine made patient medication management much more difficult. Pharmacists now perform a variety of roles at the medical industry, from producing high-quality drugs to provide patient with pharmaceutical care. The Pharmaceutical business must adapt to new illness patterns and to mounting worries about disease-causing agents developing resistance to current medications. This necessitates new chemical entities requires an increased focus in research and development for newer frontiers of medicine like biotechnology. The present issue will be a best amalgamation of eminent scientists, doctors, researchers, scholars, and students who shall share the latest developments in the relevant fields of pharma, life sciences and medical sciences. It provides a forum for the publication of original research articles, review, short communication, and clinical case report from all areas of Pharmaceutical sciences. |

Dr. Jithendra Chimakurthy, is the founder principal, for Faculty of Pharmacy, Vignan Deemed to be University, Guntur. Ranked 75th by NIRF and graded A +, by NAAC Prior to which he had held various positions starting from lecturer to Head of the Department of Pharmacology in Bapatla College of Pharmacy from 2006 to 2017. He had more than 50+ research/review articles published in various journals of peer reviewed national and international repute. He had also attended and presented his research in various conferences held in India and abroad. Dr. Jithendra is an avid researcher with his area of research in Behavioral pharmacology and awarded 1 PhD, presently supervising doctoral research for 5 scholars in collaboration with institutes of national and International importance. He is an Associate fellow of Andhra Pradesh Science Academy, editor and reviewer of peer reviewed journals, Member of Board of Studies, Nominee of CPCSEA, Member of Evaluation in various universities. He had organized many conferences, workshops and Faculty development programs funded by AICTE and DST. He also holds a patent on the drug delivery of gabapentine. |

Dr. Mitta Raghavendra is currently working as an Associate Professor, Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences, VFSTR, has 15 years of teaching and research experience. He completed D. Pharm from SGPR govt polytechnic, Kurnool, A.P., India, B. Pharm degree from RIPER, Ananthapuram, A.P., India, M. Pharm degree from SV University, Tirupati, A.P., India and Ph.D from JNTUA, Ananthapuram, A.P., India. He has authored and published/presented around 40 articles in various reputed journals and conferences and received research grant from UGC, New Delhi. He guided 25 M. Pharm projects and guiding 04 Ph. D scholars. He is the recipient of the best oral presentation award during the TIPS-2016, held at JNTUH in 2016. He organized 01 workshop and 02 conferences as a coordinator. He has attended 04 workshops and 02 FDPs in India. He is a Life member of APTI. |
